PRESERVATION AWARDS
Each year, the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation recognizes excellence in historic preservation around the state with the Florida Preservation Awards in four categories. Nominations are made by the public and award recipients are selected by a five-member jury. The award categories are listed below:

AWARDS NOMINATION GUIDE
Are you a master crafter, a historic preservation volunteer or a scholar studying Florida’s history? Has your organization or business participated in the restoration of a historic site or in archaeological research? Has your Main Street revitalized downtown or implemented a heritage trail? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, your hard work deserves recognition!
The Florida Trust is pleased to announce that we now offer thirteen preservation awards! These awards cover a variety of preservation categories. Please see the attached nomination guide to read about all of the awards we offer and the nomination guidelines. We look forward to seeing yours!

LEGACY AWARD
The Legacy Award is the Trust’s most prestigious honor for an individual, recognizing a person whose life exemplifies the guardianship of Florida’s historic properties through philosophy and action.
PRESIDENT’S AWARD
The President’s Award recognizes an individual’s lifelong achievements and leadership in state and national preservation arenas and service to the Florida Trust.
