That’s why we organize educational travel, week-long excursions in the United States and abroad, to explore history and inclusive sharing and broaden our historic preservation horizons.
Educational travel trips are intensive, in-person and hands-on learning experiences that you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Double occupancy: $4,875 (per person)
Single occupancy: $5,960
PAYMENT SCHEDULE: A $750 per traveler non-refundable deposit due upon registration to secure your space. Final balances are due by September 9th, 2026.
REGISTRATION AND CONFIRMATION: Up to 24 spaces are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Full refunds will be provided if minimum enrollment is not reached.
TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS: Flight bookings to New Orleans are the responsibility of each traveler.

Attendees will get an inside look at the Florida Trust’s six-day holiday immersion in New Orleans, developed in partnership with Project Por Amor and the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans. The December experience will take travelers beyond the typical tourist itinerary, offering rare access to historic homes, cultural traditions, preservation success stories and local voices that bring the Crescent City’s heritage to life.
Highlights during the trip will include a classic Réveillon dinner at Brennan’s, the festive Festival of the Bonfires along the Mississippi River, the PRC’s renowned Holiday Home Tour, illuminated historic landscapes in City Park and conversations with historians, preservationists, musicians and community leaders.
