- The Association for Gravestone Studies Conference will take place in Atlanta, GA, June 18-23, 2024.
- 2024 Preservation on Main Street will take place in Tallahassee, July 10-13, 2024.
- The National Alliance of Preservation Commissions Forum 2024 will take place in West Palm Beach, FL, July 31-August 4.
- Preserving the Race for Space 2024: From the Earth to the Moon and Beyond, a symposium for historic preservation related to space exploration resources, will take place in Houston, TX, August 13-15, 2024.
- The National Trust for Historic Preservation’s PastForward 2024 conference will take place in New Orleans, October 28-30.
Grants

- Tallahassee celebrated Emancipation Day on May 20.
Region 3
- The Amelia Island Museum of History is hiring a curator.
Region 4
- Eatonville is recognized as one of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s 11 Most Endangered Historic Places for 2024.
Region 5
- Preserve the ‘Burg publishes a report, titled Keeping the Vibe Alive: The Impact of Historic Preservation in St. Petersburg.
- Grassroots preservationists in Clearwater save the 1925 arches that mark the entrance to the Glennwood neighborhood.
Region 7
- The North Port City Commission votes to halt demolition of the Warm Mineral Springs historic buildings after being petitioned by the public and an alliance of preservationists, including the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation.
